For those want to pickup the crampon and ice axing techniques for future alpine mountaineering trips, no prior climbing experience needed. we provides classroom theory, rock climbing session then lastly practice ice climbing at final destination.

The course will start on basic climbing introductions, type of climbing, basic equipment needed,belaying techniques,climbing commands,safety pre-cautions,body movement techniques using ice tools and then we'll have a session of practice at outdoor natural rocks at Batu Caves.

The trip has 4days practical climbing on the ice, you will be start with practices of technique walking on icy terrains with technical crampon and learn how to walk/stand on different icy terrains. then get the right swing of ice axe and movement techniques on ice wall. we shall be climbing in different area each day with different height and ice formations. After the course, you should be building more confident walking on the snowy/icy terrains with the mountaineering boot and crampon.
